Overview

Twisting by Dominic Duvivier is his version of Twisting the Aces by Dai Vernon without having to use sleight of hand. If you ever wanted to do Twisting the Aces but was fearful of being caught out, then maybe you would want to try this one. My only question is, why though? Twisting the Aces by Vernon uses four normal cards that can be inspected if people wish to do so, this version cannot. So, either way you have a conundrum. Although this is an easy to do version of Twisting the Aces, it may me well worth the effort to learn the original.

Effect

You clearly show four blue backed Aces to the spectators. One by one the aces that were face up, turn face down. All that is needed to do is to turn the cards end for end and the aces truly do turn face up.

Method

When there is no sleight of hand then there must be something that creates the magic and Twisting is no different. You are supplied with one regular ace and three gimmicked cards. Using the Flustration Count, you show four blue backed aces then one by one they turn face up. There is no sleight of hand needed and the effect will in all appearances be similar to the original Twisting the Aces. The only difference other than handling is that these cards are dirty.

Product Quality

The cards are Bicycle Playing cards so there are no quality issues there. The instructional video is in French with English voice over. The video is 14 minutes long and covers a couple of versions. The handling of the packet is very clean and there are no odd moves.
