Silver/Copper/Brass Transposition

Johnson Products

(Based on 1 review)
A transposition effect to beat all transposition effects. A half dollar, 20 Centavo, and Chinese coin are shown. The Half is placed in one hand and it instantly changes place with the Mexican and Chinese coins held in the other hand. The effect is immediately repeated, then the coins can be handed out. The changes in this routine are even more startling due to the obvious differences in each coin's appearance.

This effect is one I carry all of the time. I replaced a lost Johnson set with Tango-which is okay-I know they've become popular, and are more 'reasonably priced'-but the coins are not as solid as Johnson. This effect has the element of SOUND. And while NO shell will ever sound like a solid coin, the Johnson gaff sounds closer to a complete coin, weighs more, because it is more substantial by design. Also, Tango's instructions-even though I know this effect for decades-are some of the worst to try to read through. I seriously wish that that company would address this issue, and get a translator on board.
Enough-this effect still KILLS, needs no bang ring, I love the number three, the Chinese coin with the hole adds further mystery in terms of flavor and function-and Johnson's version is well worth dropping a few extra dollars on.
