Sherlock'oin is an effect of pure magic! This is one of the most direct and clean methods of sending an object to an "impossible" place.

A selected and signed card is lost in the middle of the deck. You put all the cards back in the box and you borrow a coin from your audience. The coin is signed by a spectator and you make the coin magically disappear. The signed coin reappears instantly in the box and in the middle of the deck on the signed card! Audiences are amazed!

Effect

Sherlock'oin is a coin to impossible location trick. A card is chosen by a spectator and signed. The signed card is lost in the middle of the deck and the deck is placed back into its tuck case. The performer brings out a coin and it also can be signed if desired. The deck is placed on the table and the coin placed on the card box. The performer picks up the coin and makes it disappear. Where did it go? The cards are removed from the card box and the signed coin is in the middle of the deck sitting above the signed card.

Method

The effect is created by using a gimmicked box. There is very little card and coin handling skills needed to perform this effect. Due to the method, one does not even need to know how to palm a card or a coin to make this effect look convincing. This product is universally applicable to every type of performer leaving the impact of the effect to just the acting ability and personality of the user.

Product Quality

The product is die cut by the US Playing Card Company and as far as I can see, the box looks like an ordinary box. If there are concerns that the gimmick may look obvious there shouldn't be. Not withstanding, if you are one to mishandle and be careless with your props, maybe then you should have concerns.

Ad Copy Integrity

The product does work as advertised and it performed better than I expected. The work done to the box and associated playing cards is very neat and the attention to detail is obvious.

Suggestions

The main component of this trick is the gimmicked box and could suffer if handled and stored improperly. It is just card stock after all. If you are considering placing this in your magic arsenal, I recommend storing the case in one of the protective plastic tuck cases. This will insure that the box will suffer no damage while carrying it around.
