Overview

I had never been comfortable trying to use the traditional “nail writer”. I also found thumb writers, boons, adjustable writers, writers embedded in rings and other versions of writers that abound also unwieldy to use. The expression is “Simplicity at its best” exemplifies the Vernet Band Writers. Simple and uncomplicated, the writers fit well and are easy to use.

Effect

These are utility items allowing the mentalist to covertly write on a business card or a small pad. The effect that these utility items allow is the illusion that the mentalist has predetermined a set of criteria such as a thought of number, name, place and other seemingly impossible things to predict.

Method

The method is obviously through the use of this gimmick. The gimmick easily slips on and off one’s thumb when it is needed. After the gimmick is in place, one can write somewhat legibly whatever revelation one desires.

Product Quality

The Vernet Band Writer is simple but effective. What I like about the writers is that the location of the writing material can be slightly adjusted to the comfort of the user. The writer slips on and off easily and is incredibly inconspicuous.

The ad copy is concise but accurate. I find their claims to be completely true.
