"Looks like real magic!" - Dan Hauss

"Joshua Burch's "Electrolysis" separates the men from the boys and the gals from the girls. This new two card transpo is a double decker fooler!" - Richard Hatch, Erdnase Expert

“I normally don't mess with 2 deck effects but this is great!” - Bob Smith"

ELECTRO is Triumph on steroids.

The basic effect goes like this:

Two selections are made. One from a red deck, one from a blue deck.

The two decks are then shuffled into each other and shown to be completely mixed.

On your command, INSTANTLY, the cards separate themselves by color, with 2 exceptions -- the two chosen cards. The kicker ending is that the selections have traded places. In the middle of the red deck is the blue card and in the middle of the blue deck is the red card.

As a bonus, Josh will teach you his version of ELECTRO using photographs, as well as some exciting presentational ideas for the effect.

No gimmicks, no push through shuffles, no forces and no faro shuffles required.

PROS

This is a very nice routine that combines some of the best elements of Triumph, Oil and Water, and Chicago Opener.

It is pretty easy to do. The deck is not examinable at the beginning of the effect and the participant can’t shuffle the cards. The decks can be cleaned up pretty easily at the end of the routine and you are left with a regular blue deck and a regular red deck.

CONS

You start with two deck that can’t be examined or shuffled. This is probably a good opener effect as you start dirty and can pretty easily end clean.

VERDICT

Pretty good routine. You start with two decks that can’t be examined or shuffled, but you can easily end with two clean regular decks.
