Slider Double

Mike Hankins

Ellusionist

(Based on 1 review)
At your next Texas Hold'em game, take a look at your opponents' faces when you eject 3 single cards to your players in ONE throw, only to discover that each of those cards is now 2 cards (or 3, or 4, or even 5).

Great for gambling demonstrations, Slider Double is a utility move that is perfect for impressing ANYONE at the tables. Try using it for double doubles, triple doubles, double triples, triple triples, quadruple-trip-double crazy math that we can't even do.

Two Full routines (Vegas Prediction & Poker Deal) taught in detail from the demented mind of Mike Hankins.

Mike Hankin's is a funny and creative guy. He's a fairly low key magician and I get the feeling that we've only seen a small handful of the stuff he has created on the market, which is refreshing.

The slider double is Mikes version of what Hugard and Braue would call "the double deal". Mike's is based on a Howie Swartzman handling and looks very nice.

Basically this move allows you to sail 2 cards across the table as 1. The explanation of the move only takes a few minutes and you will be performing it in no time. It is a fairly simple move to master and when compared to other false deals it is a complete piece of cake.

Mike teaches a way to deal 3, 4 or 5 cards at once using the same technique as well as a way to deal 2 sets of 2, which is pretty sweet. You can do the move face up or face down, of course it is apparent that you'll need a table for this and your deck needs to be in fairly good condition.

He teaches 2 routines. The first is a magic trick with a prediction in which the mate of the chosen card is revealed and as a kicker the rest of the cards of that value magically appear as well.

The second routine is a kind of silly poker demonstration with a nice ending.

It seems like there would be a lot of applications for a move like this including the invisible palm or a isolated sandwich routine. I kind of wish he would have spent some more time on the types of routines you could use this for.

I am a sucker for clever moves that can be applied to gambling demonstrations so I enjoyed the download quite a bit. This is a practical double deal and I think if it is the kind of thing you have a routine for already then you'll love it. If you are expecting a routine to be provided you may not want this product.
