For many years book tests have been a firm favourite for both the performer and their spectators alike. But in recent years book tests have become more and more complicated to learn & perform.

Finally we have a book test that's easy to learn and uncomplicated to perform. Making the presentation uncluttered, and easy for your spectator to follow.

The Oasis book test makes a great standalone mental effect or can be a feature part of a larger mindreading routine.

The Oasis is a custom designed and printed book with over 300 pages for your spectators to choose from.

Phase One
Hand your spectator a book and get someone to name a random page number. Your spectator opens the book to that page and is directed to think of either the first or last word on the top line. They visualise the word as an image and you start describing the image & word they are thinking of.

Phase two
Another spectator opens the book to any page and chooses a word from the middle. Once again you read their mind with deadly accuracy!!

The Oasis Book test takes a few minutes to learn and is as direct as a bullet from a gun!

  • Great for anyone that wants to add some incredible mindreading to their act.
  • No fishing or guessing for the first letters.
  • Words used are easily visualized as images by your spectator, allowing for a fuller mind-reading experience
  • Learn In Minutes
  • No Memory Work Required
  • Use one or more spectators

**Comes complete with a custom designed & printed book & instructional DVD which will get you using the Oasis book test in minutes!!

The Oasis Book Test is an excellent product for beginners or workers. The price is reasonable and the results are astounding. Its simplicity is a tremendous attribute and a reason for its high rating.

This product comes with a good quality glossy covered book and an instructional DVD. There is nothing suspect about the book and it can withstand slight scrutiny when it is handed out before the routine. I would not let the book remain in the hands of spectators after the trick has been completed for more than a few second. Basic audience control will completely eliminate the risk of exposing the method during the trick. The video instructions are clear and simple and has two performances by Clint Barron with a real audience. Peter Nardi and Clint Barron discuss various alternative methods and presentations and the DVD is overall an excellent guide. The DVD also comes with a PDF instructional manual that you can print. Aside from a few typos, it is also clear and easy to understand. It can be used as a quick refresher if you have not used the book in a while. The manufacturer's description is accurate.

The performer can divine several different words from each page and it is instantly repeatable with different or the same spectators. Ask the spectator to multiply the number of words on each page by the number of pages in the book and this trick seems unbelievably impossible. During the routine, the page number is the only fact that is called out, which seems irrelevant to the presentation since one spectator calls out the page for the other spectator to turn to.

There is a minimal amount of memorization (almost none), but it is so easy, anyone can do it -- even a forgetful person with a poor memory. Anyone can do this effect immediately after watching the DVD or reading the instruction manual.
