He has one of the decks chosen. He says that nowadays, in modern times, one is always in a hurry. Instantly, he reveals that the chosen deck’s box has disappeared, leaving the cards loose in his hand. He reaches into his pocket and brings out the box. Then, after showing the cards-faces and blue backs, he squares up the deck face down. The performer tosses the deck onto the table and an instant color change occurs. All the backs are red! He opens the red box to show that the blue cards are in the place of the red ones. He can then proceed with more baffling card effects with the normal blue deck.
