Mini Hippity Hop Rabbits - MAK

(Based on 1 reviews)
Category: Close Up
Media Type: Trick
Publisher: MAK Magic

Product Description

This new mini verison of the famous Hippy Hop Rabbits trick is adorable. Perfect for the close-up performer. The rabbits stand a mere 4 1/2" tall.

For those unfamiliar with the effect the magician displays two rabbits, one white and one black. Each is covered as the magician explains he will make them change places. After a few funny moves the audience believes they are black on one side and white on the other and the magician is simply turning them around. No chance! The rabbits are turned over and one is yellow and the other red. Beautifully crafted from wood by MAK magic.

I regret that I am very disappointed in this product. I anticipated the pleasure of bringing a favorite stage illusion to my close-up restaurant gigs and was enthusiastic about the principal and design.

In practice, the gimmicks on the rabbits failed to hold the shell in place on one rabbit. Holding the rabbit at an angle or the slightest tap would knock it loose. Then, the gimmicks inside the covers failed to securely attract & hold the shells, no matter how hard I tried.

I had to replace the gimmicks inside the covers completely to achieve a satisfactory result. The trick is one of my more popular table-hopping bits, now, but I don't expect to have to rebuild a purchased effect before presenting it. I expect better from MAK.
