This is another Wayne Dobson prediction effect that I really wanted to like, but left me cold. While I really liked the performance video online, I was disappointed that the video was an example of just one ‘procedure’ that can take place in the effect. I’m not against outs or procedures, but the other way this effect may turn out involves you moving the object around while spelling the name of the object. This kills the effect, and doesn’t even justify itself as a method, it’s only an excuse. I like the effect, but this method is seriously flawed. There are so many prediction effects and ‘three object tests’ that I can’t see what justifies us buying this version for twenty five dollars.

The DVD included is only about ten minutes long, which once again leaves me wondering why they didn’t just print the instructions on one sheet of paper. That’s all it would take. Mark Mason isn’t a strong performer or teacher, so why we need to watch him drone on about this effect is a question that will keep me up tonight.

However, the gimmicked wallet included is really nice, and can be adapted for other effects. That’s exactly what I’ll be using it for, ANY effect but this one.
