There are those who say that there were Egg Bags in America even before Columbus landed. Now, I'm not sure if that's true. But it sure has been around for a long time. Here's the effect ... you show an attractive bag, inside and out. Drop an egg into the bag and immediately it vanishes. The bag is turned inside out, banged on a table, even knotted up like a rope. The egg has clearly vanished. However, as soon as you reach into the bag, the egg has returned. Now, you offer to explain how the trick is done. You lead the audience down the proverbial "garden path." As soon as they think they know exactly what's going on, you turn on the sprinklers and they're more baffled than ever. Once again, you show the bag empty and have two spectators hold your wrists. You now reach into the bag one more time, and, guess what, the egg is back. For a climax, you place the egg into the bag, and it changes into a big lemon ...
