The performer exhibits a clear balloon which can be examined and inflated by the spectator. A very long needle is shown with a ribbon threaded through the eyelet. Without hesitation, the performer can puncture the balloon and run the needle completely through the balloon. The balloon does not break. The spectators can see the needle and balloon are free of any gimmicks. The needle is drawn completely out of the balloon, and the ribbon is pulled through the two holes made by the needle. The balloon is then burst with the needle to prove it will break.
