Effect

The Spectator begins by merely thinking of any of the 25 famous movies that are printed on a page torn from an Inflight magazine. They are further asked to think of any celebrity who has appeared in their chosen movie from a list of 30 different possibilities. The mentalist is then able to reveal the person whom they are thinking of in a laser direct fashion. Just when your participants think things are over, you have the ability to add an additional series of reveals into the mix proving that the Spectators choice may not have been as free as they had initially imagined.

Method

This effect is almost self-working and you will be able to learn it very quickly as there is little to remember, all is very fair, they pick whatever they want. This can be learned in under 10 minutes of course more time will be needed to practice and hone your presentation. The effect itself is very clean, straight forward and is very strong. The magazine page is totally examinable with nothing to find. There is no way your Spectator will be able to figure it out or reverse engineer it.

Product Quality

You will receive 3 identical full color magazine pages (8.5” x 11.5”) one for your performance and 2 spares printed on high quality paper that should last you for many, many performances. You will be folding and unfolding the pages so proper care should be taken. If is should tear, tape is a great fix which may also add to it’s authenticity.

Ad Copy Integrity

Everything is exactly as advertised. You will receive that and more with over 3.5 hours of online instructions. The online tutorial is over 3.5 hours long … wow. Michael covers everything you want to know, how to perform it, additional hints, tips and tricks to make this one the most outstanding mental effects out there. He does spend a lot of time talking about the effects background story, history and development however it is very easy to skip over this and any other parts due to a very well laid out index with very accurate minute markers. There are also links to “New bonus thoughts”. All in all, TONS of great information and learning.

Final Thoughts

As the Spectator does have a choice, you could perform it twice in succession for the same group but you may not want to that. Once you learn it, that will all make sense. I’m sure that you will completely impressed and happy with this effect, I was and highly recommend it.
