Richard Osterlind

Osterlind Mysteries

(Based on 1 review)
This is the book that Richard Osterlind has been writing in his head for five years...and it's available at last.

Metalblast contains not the methods, but the real secrets of metal bending. In this exciting new work, Richard Osterlind discusses the mindset of the metal bender and the key ingredients necessary to make an audience believe that they're seeing miracles. What's more, these theatrical and psychological techniques are totally transferable and able to be easily adapted to just about any mentalism or magic you perform.

If you're an aspiring metal bender, or simply want to make the effects you already perform stronger and more impactful, you need to read Metalblast!

Overview

Metalblast by Richard Osterlind “is a book he was writing in his head for five years.” I think he should have waited another five years or more before publishing this one. Metalblast is supposed to be “the real secrets behind metal bending” but it is only a High School level (or less) compilation or erratic thoughts of no significance. Instead of real insight into the mindset of the performer when attempted to perform and hopefully convincing the audience he has the ability to bend metal with his mind, it is an assemblage of obvious observations such as the definition of “powerful” copied from a dictionary. Or, statements such as “powerful things are made out of metal”.

Effect

The book contains no effects but is a treatise on one man’s thought on metal bending.

Method

The book contains no effects or tips on how to improve your performance save one which is not original which is, “direct with your eyes”. If you were hoping to get anything out of this booklet, you will be disappointed.

Product Quality

The booklet resembles a High School “what I did on my summer vacation” essay. It is basically a running ramble of everything we have heard throughout our magic career. I expected more than “people want to put value in magic you do”. Really? I needed to buy a book to learn that?

Ad Copy Integrity

Not only is the book devoid of anything practical but the book is touted as having 20 pages. It has 20 physical pages but only 8.5 of them have actual information on it. There is a title page, a content page, an introduction page and several blank and half-filled pages.

Final Thoughts

Total trash !!!!
