Based on an original idea by Hen Fetsch, the SPELL-O-MATIC is an astonishing piece of card magic.
Imagine having a spectator name ANY card, and you spell straight to it! Then, another spectator does the same, and you spell to that too!
Then you have both spectators 'create a card', one naming a suit at random, and another naming a value! BOOM! It turns up when you spell!
Finally, both spectators create a card again, but they don't even tell you their choices! One chooses a suit, one a value, and you drop the deck to the table. For the first time, both choices are named, and you spell it, from the table top, with no moves or sneaky stuff! AND THEIR CARD TURNS UP WHEN YOU SPELL IT!

This card spelling trick was inspired originally by Hen Fetsch and later improved by Ken de Courcy. I love a good card spelling trick and SPELL-O-MATIC is a real good one. This is Liam Montier’s update to this classic.To accomplish this miracle with no sleight of hand, you have your spectator name any card. You can have one name a suit, another name a card and you spell/count the name of the card and the merely thought of card is the one spelled/counted to. You may wonder why it says “spell/count” and there is a good reason for that. Once the card is named, you count down the number, then spell “of” and spell the suit. So, for instance, is the card is the 6 of Diamonds, you would count 6 card, spell the word “of” and spell the word “diamonds” by moving one card off the top for each letter. The great part about this trick is that the reset can be done in an instant and you don’t need a table. Great for walk around, but the deck cannot be handed out.
SPELL-O-MATIC is a normal deck of cards that is slightly altered in a way that we have all seen before. It is not detectable, but as I said, the cards cannot be handed out and in fact they cannot be displayed to show that they are not set up. That is because they are set up and in the most obvious way.
The trick is well worth the $25 price tag and comes with a vimeo instructional video taught excellently by Montier. You also get a set of written instructions that are good.

The description is accurate and the trick is as good as described.
Most importantly, the deck comes in red or blue Bikes so you can switch the SPELL-O-MATIC deck in and out of play. If you do not use Bikes, it is easy enough to create your own SPELL-O-MATIC deck once you have purchased this product. You can be very deceptive and convince your spectator that the deck is truly mixed by permitting them to cut the deck after the performer does a series of Charlier shuffles and other false shuffles.
There is a small amount of memory word, but I mean, real small i.e. all you have to do is to be able to remember the names of the 4 suits in a certain order – and no, it is not CHSD.
I love this and highly recommend it.
