"Wordalism is awesome, I will add it to my act immediately. I can use this in my walk-around performances and I can think of a way to use it on stage as well. Well done Josh." -James Dayley
The word game that took the world by storm is now a powerful mind-reading effect that fits in your wallet. They think of a secret word and you name it every time. Get a 100% win and keep your current streak with Wordalism by Josh Burch.
Here’s what happens:
The magician introduces a packet of puzzle cards that can be used to improve your game. The spectator thinks of a word on one of the cards. After asking a few simple questions, the performer is able to reveal the thought of word with perfect accuracy. It’s part game, part mind-reading, and a completley baffling effect your audience will love.
Wordalism relies on an ancient principle of magic that has been updated to baffle those in the know. Nothing is written down, and the word is never said out loud. It exists only inside their head. No need to memorize long lists of words or even look at the faces of the cards. The cards are all marked in clear English to make this easy enough for the complete beginner, but deceptive enough for discerning puzzle masters.

Overview
Wordle the word game that took the world by storm is now a powerful mind-reading effect that fits in your wallet. The Spectator looks at 15 cards printed with words then selects a secret word. After ‘reading their mind’ you name it every time. There are a few different ways of revealing the word and you get it correct 100% of the time.Effect
The Magician introduces a packet of puzzle cards and they lays them out on the table. You have the spectator pick a word on one of the cards - his secret word and concentrate on it. After asking a few simple questions the performer is able to reveal their word with perfect accuracy. It’s part game, part mind-reading and a completley baffling mental effect. You can even repeat it again having them select a different word.Method
Wordalism relies on an ancient principle of magic that has been updated and disguised so that it is highly unlikely anyone will be able to reverse engineer it or figure it out. The word the spectator chooses is never said out loud or written down. There is no need to memorize long lists of words, you don’t even look at the faces of the cards after the word is selected. With a little practice and some presentation skills, this effect is very easy to do and really makes them think you actually read their mind.If you so desire you can reveal their word a few different ways - telling them verbally, defining their thoughts and writing it down, drawing a picture of it or using your phone to hone into their mind. It is instantly repeatable with the same Spectator if you want with different word chosen.
