Silver Shifter - English Penny

Silver Shifter is like no other coin device you have ever seen. With it, you can actually bend a coin right in front of your audience's eyes! As you'll see in this video clip, the coin visibly bends, and never leaves their sight during the bend! Once bent, you immediately drop the coin into their hands for thorough inspection-it's a real halfdollar, and your hands are shown empty front and back! The effect this has on both laymen and magicians alike is truly astonishing!
* No funny switches
* No weird palm off’s
* No pressure
* No heat
* No kidding!
And, Silver Shifter can be used for much more than just the bending coin routine. This incredible gimmick makes possible whole new variations on productions, vanishes and classic coin routines like Scotch and Soda-the possibilities are truly only limited by your imagination.
Silver Shifter is a must-have coin device to add to your arsenal.

Well, this may be one of the shortest reviews I have ever written. First off it sounded to good to be true, it is a new utility coin device nothing like I have ever seen before, this is a good thing. It comes with everything you need to perform the visual bending and then handing out the bent ‘real coin’. The not so good thing is that there is no video to watch and learn all the moves you will need to perform this and another 7 effects you can do. The instructions are printed on five 8.5" X 11” pages and as I am definitely not a coin guy, I really found it very difficult to follow the instructions. There are only 5 small photos that I really didn’t think helped me much. I did spend some time trying to find some videos demonstrating the tricks included but did have much luck. I did find something on Penguin but is was a .wmv file that I could not view on my Mac. To practice something like coin moves and handling, I and most people these days really need to see it on video to follow the moves to learn it properly. If you are a seasoned coin pro, this may be good for you but certainly not the beginner or someone who does not do a lot of coin work. All in all, I personally would give the concept a 5 but practicality and learnability for most a 3. Sorry Keith & Steve!
