Few new words to say about this killer trick-except that it may be the first trick I'm tempted to use it with a cellphone...as the spectator may phone a friend, get a card name, and...there it is in the deck, turned over. One lady I performed a monte trick for said, "You know...I saw this magician in New York...he pulled out a brand new deck of cards, unwrapped the cellophane, pulled out the fresh deck, and...there was my card, the only one turned over in the deck!!! I mean, thats not possible!" ( it is with an invisible deck, plus, there are the new cellophane wrappers for sale to us magi, which give the impression of a freshly bought pack.)
Known to magicians for decades, many lay people still, have never seen this marvelous trick. As reliable as rising card, and mental photography.

I always save it for my last card trick. If they pick the wrong card you have an out. If not you have a great closer.

I've been doing Invisible Deck ever since I spent a weekend with Don Alan in 1976. It never fails to slay laypersons.
I have done it about a half-dozen different ways, depending on my gig. During my recent "line magic" job at the legendary Stardust Casino, I used the "are you psychic?" method because it works quickly and easily.
Perhaps the most useful trick deck there is.

Yes, it's overused. Yes, everyone knows about it. HOWEVER, it's still an awesome effect and some magicians still have trouble using it thanks to the diabolical secret! For $4, you can't go wrong!
