Fantastic Floatation
Fearson, Steve
(Based on 1 review)
Steve Fearson won first place at both the IBM and the SAM conventions and featured this illusion in his special for Japanese T.V.. A top comedy club performer recently used it on the Arsenio Hall show.
When you’re booking a show, does it make a difference if you say, "Oh yes, I also levitate myself!"? You bet it does! Give your audience what they want, and get an edge over the competition with Fearson’s Fantastic Floatation!
Levitate yourself on stage or close-up! Indoors or out! Even float at a restaurant! Perfect for the trade show or comedy club performer. You do not need to be near any props or curtains and there are no heavy gimmicks to carry around. You move about normally before and after the levitation, and there are no weight limits!

I first saw Steve perform this in Japan. The Japanese TV hosts and the audience was amazed. He walked out, took off his jacket, draped it in front of him, and then both feet just floated up off of the floor - there is was, horizontal to the floor, moving around in mid-air.
He then floated back to an erect position and settled back to the floor, flipped the jacket over his shoulder and walked away. It was simply the best levitation I've ever seen because it was so impromptu.
I bought the illusion and I am very impressed with its workings. Can I do perform it - sure, but not nearly as impressive as Steve. Have I used it in front of an audience - no - because it requires more skill than I have to make it as believable as it is when Steve performs it.
I am ancient, stiff, weak of limb, and all of that contributes to my inability to make this look effortless. But it is a dream come true for someone who can master the technique. It is not hard but it does demand some strength and a good sense of balance.
