A very application of the classic concept of multiple outs, and a deceptively clever set of props, and "handling" that make it seem like there are way more possible outcomes than there really are. If you're familiar with David Regal's effect, All Strung Out, you may recognize the very simple and very clever verbiage used to drastically narrow down the total outcomes while seeming to demonstrate how numerous the choices are. The whole product from props to video is extremely well-done and excellent quality. Let's examine each of the following items that are included:15 Picture Cards:
These are well made, and spread nicely. They handle like playing cards. Smooth.
1 Vinyl "Game Board":
This will last forever, but it needs to be broken in a bit. It tends to want to fold back up. It's kept in the card box in a folded state. It wants to maintain that shape. It can be trained to flatten out a bit, but it would have been nice if this was addressed in the video, especially since Joel's board laid pretty flat with no noticeable folding issues.
2 Instruction Sheets
The instruction sheet is the instructions for the "game" and is used as part of the performance. Only one is needed. The second is just an extra in case the one in use gets worn out or ripped, etc. They're printed on high gloss thick paper and should last a while, but it's a nice touch that more than one is included.
Game Box
The whole thing, 15 cards, vinyl game board, and instructions sheet are all kept inside of a card box (same size and shape as a deck of cards). It looks like a portable real game. The box is thick and sturdy cardboard that will last much longer than your deck of bikes. Excellent quality.
Plastic Box
In case you're worried about the cardboard box getting damaged in your pocket, or bag, etc., fear not because also included is a hard plastic shell that you can place the card box in. This the same material that "unbreakable" combs are made from. It should last forever.
Video / Training
The video is well shot, lit, and mic'd, and covers every detail you need about how to perform the effect, and how to (with no memory work) know which out to use. The only "issue" I had was already mentioned above regarding not having any tips on how to straighten out the vinyl board. Otherwise, the video is pretty much perfect.
Ad Copy Integrity
Claim: "Picture Consequences is fun, colorful and engaging."Yep. 100% (albeit subjectively) true.
Claim: "Finally, a routine that is perfect for all age groups and guarantees to leave everybody baffled."
Again, subjectively true.
Claim: "You can perform this up-close or take it to the stage!"
This is the only claim I have a small issue with. I'm not sure what this would look like in a stage performance. Parlor maybe, but I'm not sure about stage. Nowhere is this addressed in the training video.
Otherwise, all of the ad copy claims are 100% accurate and true.
Final Thoughts

If you like fun effects that can be performed and (most importantly) appreciated by pretty much any age, then this is a good fit. If you like the effect and see yourself doing this kind of effect, you'll be very happy with your purchase. It'll be $40 bucks well-spent. The whole thing takes up the size of a deck of cards in your pocket, case, etc., but can play quite big with all of the pieces involved and the audience interaction.
