A review by False-Cut:
Anyone that's seen a David Acer video knows that you get your moneys worth, and Extreme Close-Up is a perfect example of that. This video is jammed pack with great magic, a better word is "useful" magic, which to me is the most important then to look at when you?re picking up a new video, book or whatever.
Like most of David Acer's effects they all make sense, and there always get right down to the point, which make the effects good for any type of situation.
Some of the highlights of the tape are:
"Changes" two selected cards changes into two different cards, then to one card, and then back to the original two selections. This effect is very visual, and trust me it will freak people right out.
"Cheap Labor" a stickman drawn on the back of one card jumps around a small packet of cards like crazy, then lands on every card expect the selected card, great effect, easy to do, and once again very visual.
"Over Easy" this trick is a nice triumph effect using a small packet of cards, very easy to do and it will fool people every time.
This video, in my opinion, is a must have for anyone that does close up magic, so go pick it up.
