As with the other two volume set of books by Karl Fulves, "The Best of Slydini and More," this set also belongs on the shelf of any serious magician. Slydini was a mentor and teacher to many of our past and present masters of the art, including Jim Cellini, Juan Tamariz, Jeff McBride, Tony Clark, Pete Biro, D. Angelo Ferri and many more.
The format of this set is much the same as for "The Best of Slydini and More". It too is comprised of two volumes - one which is all text and the other which contains all the accompanying photographs. Again, some people may find having to lay out and hold open two books whilst learning a bit annoying (or quite annoying) and others may not. Either way, the text is very clear and the photographs are each labeled alphanumerically and referenced in the text where necessary, making them easy to find and pair up. This set uses the same quality hardcovers and paper as "The Best of Slydini and More", but has a different image on the covers and the content of this set is different. None of the material from "The Best of Slydini and More" is repeated in these books.
Once again the material in here is not for beginners, but any magician that is dedicated to serious study and practice of the magical arts will find plenty of material between the covers. Not just effects but also magic theory, the proper body positioning, the proper use of body language and much, much more.
Once practiced (a LOT!) and learned, the material here will serve the reader very well for life.
Highly recommended!
