Overview

Dealing With It Season 3 by John Bannon and Big Blind Media (BBM) is the third release in a series not coincidentally called Dealing With It. As far as I’m concerned, there is no better value in card magic than the Bannon / BBM combination. Although I revere John Bannon’s work, I do have other card men I respect as well. However, the value you get in regards to usable material that does not require months to learn, the quality of the performances and explanations coupled with the quality of the production, Bannon’s releases are hard to beat.

Effect

On this DVD you will learn six very doable and impressive card tricks. In addition, there is a bonus card control called the Screen Control. Like all the DVD in this series you will get to watch six hard hitting card trick performances along with a thorough explanation for each one.

Method

Each DVD in this series seems to have its own “slant”. Most of the effects on this DVD will require some sort of setup or bank of cards already prepared. As with many of tricks requiring a setup, you may want to start out with the setup trick first and then proceed to others. Another option would be to have the requisite cards already setup and separate from the regular deck. For example, High Five is a poker dealing trick that requires twenty- five pre-arranged cards. You may want to have this already setup in possibly a vintage style card back and theme it to a gambling story about the wild west.

Product Quality

There is no question as to the value you receive with a Bannon / BBM release. Every trick performed and explained is a winner. The performances and explanations are done at an easily understood pace. The quality of the filming, lighting, sound and sets are superb. There is nothing left out with this and other series they produce.

Ad Copy Integrity

The ad copy is always accurate. The one thing I will note that many of these tricks will requires a setup which must be done beforehand or at the very least in a casual fashion.

Final Thoughts

I highly recommend Dealing With It series as well as Move Zero if you want good, non-sleight of hand card magic that can be done with an regular deck of cards.
