Cube In A Tube

(Based on 1 review)
A die, sitting on a base is covered with a cube. Next, an oval tube is placed on top of the die and slowly pushed down, seemingly into the die. However, when the cube covering the die is removed, the die is gone, the oval tube sits in its place and the cube is shown to be empty. When the tube is raised, there is the die—no longer a cube, but a most unusual looking, oval-shaped die! The cube measures 63/4 x 63/4-inches and the tube is 41/4 x 61/4-inches.

I would like to point out before I start that my version comes with a wooden mallet to hit the tube into the cube.

When I first did this trick the kids liked it! But something was missing! Then I used my bird puppet and it became the biggest hit of my show. Not because of the puppet but because I changed the presentaion.

The bird supposedly trys to make the tube go into the box but fails because the dice is inside. After loads of mayhem with throwing things around and hitting me on the head with the wand. He then takes a mallet and hits the tube into the dice like a nail. I then lift up the box to discover the dice has vanished, wondering where the dice is I lift up the tube only to find a oval shaped dice inside which is solid!

It is a brilliant trick and worth every cent! I perform it at every show and that is a couple of hundred times a year! So you know it has to be good.
