This thing is really stunning! You get a most amazing gimmick! The quality of the gimmick is excellent.
The method is also excellent. The gimmick comes in a few parts that allows you to hand out the deck to be shuffled. You then have them select a card (not a free choice). The gimmick is then cleverly brought in. The handling of the gimmick is superb. It works with a cell phone light, or even a small single AAA keychain flashlight or most any other keychain flashlight. It works superbly well in almost any lighting situation. The light moves on the card without any apparent movement of the card or the light below it.
The handling is excellent and not too difficult. The explanation on the download video is very good. They explain how to perform this sitting or standing. This is something you could perform in a variety of settings, close up sitting down, close up standing, or parlor. You could even do this on stage if you had a camera and screen.
It is not very angle sensitive. You could perform this surrounded. The only bad angle is directly below the gimmick.
The ad is pretty fair and honest. If you like the trailer, I think you are going to love this.
WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE
I really love this, and there are really no significant negatives, in my mind. However, there are some limitations you should be aware of.
You can’t hand out the gimmick for examination. However, the video talks about how to ring in the gimmick in the middle of the routine and how to ditch the gimmick and hand out the card for examination. Also the gimmick is designed so that it can be easily ditched with minimal effort.
You can reveal a wide variety of two character revelations, including cards, numbers, and letters. You can reveal any card with a value character and either a letter or a picture of the suit. However, your gimmick must be set up in advance to reveal one set of two characters at a time.
You will need to follow the explanation video closely and practice the handling. In performing this, the participant is going to be dying to check out the card. you have to do a little dirty work before you can hand out the card for examination. The video covers this very well, but you will need to develop your confidence in the handling to pull it off successfully.
AT A GLANCE
The skill level required: 2 of 5. The handling is not difficult, but you should closely watch the explanation video and gain confidence in the handling before performing.
