PROS

This is a hypnosis CD designed to help magicians. I thought this would be a tough one to review because I thought it was going to be just esoteric hypnosis. However, I found it to be a practical step by step process to help you to be more creative. Probably the biggest problem with magicians is they purchase a trick and go out and perform it, or add the “trick” to their set of tricks. This CD provides a step by step approach to break that mold and to develop creative magic.

CONS

The instructional part is very brief. Not bad, but brief. The instruction is very high level and does not dig deep into any magic concepts. After the brief instructional part is a section on hypnosis. Some may find this helpful, others perhaps not. If you are into hypnosis, you may enjoy this, as it is really geared toward helping magicians be more creative through very brief high level instruction and then a hypnosis session.

VERDICT

Brief high level instruction on broad, non-specific ways to develop creativity followed by hypnosis designed to aid magicians in being more creative. If you are really into hypnosis, you may enjoy this.

I rate this a three. However, I'm not saying it is mediocre. I rated it so because I think a small number of people will enjoy this, and perhaps a larger group of people may find it lacks specific substance.
