A box of blue bicycle cards is freely shown. With the wave of the hand the box unbelievably changes to red. Blink and you will miss it! The best bit of all is that the box can immediately be given out for examination. From here you are ready to go into your favourite card routine.

The Changer is easy to do and one of the most visual changes you will ever witness. With absolutely certainty it will become part of your card repertoire forever.
  • Very easy to perform
  • Quick reset
  • Available in red or blue Bicycle cards
The Changer comes complete with DVD which includes bonus handlings and a precision made gimmick.

Momma always told me life was like a box of chocolates . . .

Actually, sorry, that was someone else. My Momma always told me that if you can't say something nice about someone don't say anything at all. With that in mind, I'm having a hard time saying "something."

Let me start by saying, just watch the demo, and the secret to the effect will be pretty apparent. Although you may not be aware of the specifics, it's clear what's going on.

For $59.00, you get:

  • A 7 minute long DVD - Yes; Literally 7 minutes

  • A poorly made gimmick

  • A little something extra to help you ditch the gimmick

Here's how I see it:

  1. The Gimmick does not stay in place very well.

  2. The repositioning of the deck to remove the cards and unload the gimmick is extremely awkward.

  3. The gimmick is already Fraying after a hanfull of practice runs

  4. The gimmick makes noise

  5. There's a tell-tale of what's going on that you can see on the gimmick

Those are the highlights (lowlights?) of my review. Let me, however, offer a possible solution for these issues: Don't buy this product.
Items Number 1, 3, 4, and 5 are pretty cut and dried, not a whole you can do. As for the awkward handling, that can be overcome with practice.

The video demo shows a visual change. However, while playing around with this, I stumbled on a couple of ideas that are not visual, but are still very magical, and might make the effect a little bit cleaner. My point in mentioning that is simply that if the creators/producers had spent a little more time thinking about this product, they could have come up with a ton more ideas and uses for the gimmicks and that "extra" something I mentioned earlier.

By the way, that "extra" something is nothing special, and you already probably have one, and even if you don't, it's not worth buying this product just to get the "extra" something. I'll just say this: it's just special enough that you'll want to keep it far away from your computer's hard drive.

If they had taken the time to come up with more ideas, they would have ended up with a video that was longer than 7 minutes, and possibly there would be an idea or two that might resonate with the viewers thus making the purchase a bit closer to being worth your while, but as it stands, I just would not recommend this product, especially at the asking price.
