Mirror, Mirror On The Wall

Agaian, Elian

Murphy's Magic

(Based on 1 review)
The performer invites a spectator from the audience to come up to the stage. He displays 32 different pictures and asks the spectator to randomly choose one. The performer points to a large mirror on the table and explains that it is a magical mirror that can reflect anyone's thoughts. He takes the mirror and asks the spectator to think of the picture he has chosen. The performer stares into the mirror and slowly reveals and describes the picture that the spectator is thinking of. When the spectator is asked to show the picture he is holding, it is the exact picture the performer has described. The performer continues to amaze by having a second spectator read the mind of the first spectator. The mirror is completely examinable. Includes concise instructions for three effects.

Without giving too much away this trick works on the two way mirror principle. What is brilliant about this is item is that not only can you change the picture seen in the mirror (you get 3 different ones) but you can make your own. (or I should say get them made for you).

No matter how much you examine the mirror you will not be able to see the picture before it shows itself up in the mirror magically.

The down side is that you have to pick someone with good eyesight and someone who is on the ball, as if they don't concentrate on what they are doing to then they may miss the trick.

The down side, and that's why I have only given 4 stars is the price. Maybe if it was least $50 cheaper then I would give it an extra star. The other problem where do you perform this trick? The problem then is it's too big to carry around for close up and dosen't have the impact for stage use. I suppose the answer is an intimate gathering of friends (10-20 ) would be the best time to present it.

I really like this trick despite the size and the price.
