Money Comes & Goes

Rick Lax

Penguin Magic

(Based on 1 review)
A "bank-night" style trick is one where a magician tries to influence spectators into making choices that have lower value, typically from among 4+ options, leaving the option(s) with the highest value for the magician.

Rick Lax's trick Money Comes & Goes is brilliant because it takes everything good about bank-night and ALSO turns what was a boring and random process into a FUN, TENSE and ENGAGING experience. In addition to having a big reveal at the end, EACH AND EVERY STEP ALONG THE WAY is a psychological duel between the magician and the spectator, resulting in TONS of hilarious exchanges making it more fun to BE a spectator, and also more fun to WATCH the spectator. The volunteer is fighting their urge to choose large denominations and to ignore the "influence" given by the magician.

Free will or mind control? It’s amazing!

Easy to perform and fun to do, very clever, no gimmicks, have it on you are ready to go and any time. The only thing you will need to buy is some labels to stick on the back of the bills as you saw in the video unless you already have some at home. This is a real fooler, Rick has done it again. The reason I really like this is because it’s real money that's involved and as most people want to win money, buy lottery or raffle tickets in the hopes of winning big, this trick is a no brainer. Your spectator makes all the decisions, how fair can that be? This is very easy to learn and you will be doing this soon after you download it (if you have those labels handy) because … it’s self working. How amazing is that? You may think that most all self working tricks are ho-hum and not worth the investment but this one is. There is a very easy principle in play, you probably already know it but very cleverly disguised. You can do this with any denomination, any currency. Even though the spectator doesn’t win any money Rick has created a very nice ending so the spectator ‘feels' like a winner, use it or not, your choice. This is nice, really nice, you will be very happy with this, worth more than the allotted stars available.
