In trying to locate a Chick Pan, I searched the web unsuccessfully in an effort to find a single review. Having found none, I ordered the inexpensive Uday model. I've discovered, once again, that you get what you pay for.

The Chick Pan can be a fine magic utility item, allowing the performer to dependably and invisibly switch one item for another, even involving fire, liquids or (for those interested in such things) small animals. But not so with this version. The Uday Chick Pan is so poorly made that it would be useless in all but the most limited situations. First, the base pan and the load pan are visibly different - the former having rivets and holes in the base, while the latter does not. The mechanism is so flimsy as to be undependable. For my purposes, however, the worst feature was the fit, which was so loose that the base and load pan will "talk" upon the slightest movement.

My advice would be to spend a little more for a model from a better manufacturer.

At this writing, I have shelled out for the Viking version and will post a review upon its receipt.
