Bazar de Magia

(Based on 1 review)

A freely chosen card is signed by a spectator and returned back to the deck. Then the magician shows a black bag which is handed to the spectator to hold. The chosen card vanishes from the deck. Then the spectator opens the bag and finds a closed music CD box inside. He opens the box and finds two transparent CDs inside. They are attached together with some rubber bands with the chosen signed card sandwiched between them!!! Easy to do Use any deck of cards Complete with everything you need

This is a good effect that I have used a few times. I would use it more if I did table hopping or close-up magic.

I gave it a 4-star rather than higher rating because I found the case a bit cheaply made but certainly usable. The effect plays much as it reads in the ad and is easy to do.

I have combined this with another card effect - say the rising card. I force the first card, have it signed and then place it in front of the first spectator. He puts his finger on what he thinks is his signed card.

I then have the second spectator choose a card and I turn my back so that he can sign its face. In that instance, I load the first spectator's card.

I turn, look for a black bag, find it in my jacket pocket and give it to the first spectator, who then looses his card in the deck. I hold the deck as the second specator inserts his card.

I make the second spectator's card appear first - upside down in the deck or rising from the deck but can't find the first spectator's card. Of course, it is eventually found in the bag between the CDs bound with rubber bands.

It only takes an instant to load the card, so a clever magician could palm the card and load it as he is pulling the bag out of his pocket. I am not that clever but it would not take a finger flicker to do it that way. I just prefer an easier way to load the card.
