Overview

Image having your Spectator give you their or a family members significant date. You present them with a small plastic calendar card with all the dates of the year on it and next to each date a card (suit and value) is printed. You open your wallet and take out a prediction that matches exactly the card next to their date. Easy do to and you will always be correct. You can also present this as a betting effect where your Spectator can possibly win money if you are wrong. Lots of fun and highly interactive.

Completely self working, amazing, totally deceptive, instant reset, uses any date, works every time!

Method

As in other Diary effects you will be glad to know that as the name suggests, there are no Diaries to use and carry on you. Everything you need to perform this minor miracle is carried in your wallet/billfold. The laminated card you display to the Spectator does the work for you. You do however have to have a few things in your wallet ready to go (some cards and bills) in order to pull off this effect. Don’t worry, you will not have buy anything else or have to do any arts and crafts or make anything. It is basically self-working however to will need to remember a few basic things but not really any significant memory work. Once you do it a few times you will be good to go.

Product Quality

You are supplied with 2 laminated calendar cards which will last you a lifetime and a printed booklet of instructions. They are no video instructions available however you will find the instructions very clear and concise. I know some of you prefer video but in this case it is no bid deal and there are no sleights of fancy moves to learn. The instructions provide the basic presentation and script as well as a few other routines including a sucker effect and a stage version that involves 5 audience members. The carrying wallet is not included, you will have to supply your own.

Ad Copy Integrity

The ad says that this does not take up any space and can be used in any wallet. Kinda of … the wallet will need to have enough space to contain a number of cards and would be advisable to have a few pockets like you would have for credit cards. It also says that there is no memory work, there is some at the onset of learning the effect but very basic. Other than these small points, all is as all is said. I have included a video link below so that you can watch one of the performances.

Final Thoughts

Once you have your wallet set up and on you, you will be really to go anywhere, anytime. This can be used for any significant event or special date other than birthdays - anniversaries, first date, move date, travel date … Please know that the printing on the card is fairly small and some of your Spectators may have trouble reading it. No worries, I found a business card size and thickness, plastic magnifier at the Dollar Store. If you want to use bills instead of cards that is also an option that you will be taught, also uses less space in the wallet. This is a good buy and you will get a lot of mileage out of it with great reactions from your audience.

This can be done in a strolling or parlor show environment as well as for stage.
