Cleanly show a silk and tuck it into a closed fist. With a gentle blow, the silk has transformed into a gorgeous chocolate!

A new rendition to the classic effect "Silk to Egg!" Replace the egg with the chocolate, making the effect seemingly more impromptu and delicious! To conclude, you can even give out the chocolate as a souvenir at the end of the routine!

Silk to Chocolate by Sean Yang is touted as "A new rendition to the classic effect Silk To Egg" and all I can say it is definitely not. Silk to Egg is a multi-phase routine with lots of by play between the performer and spectator. At the end of the classic Silk to Egg routine, what everyone thought was a fake egg turns out to be real. All Silk to Chocolate amounts to is a disappearance of a silk and a switch.

What you get for $24.95 is a buck naked gimmick. You will have to purchase Ferrero Rocher chocolates or gold foil wrappers to make your gimmick look like a real Ferrero Rocher chocolate. You will also need double sided tape handy to complete the project. For the asking price I think the gimmick should have come completed.

The video was thorough for what this is. The video comprises of the steps on how to finish making your gimmick. Multiple shots and angles on how to stuff a silk into the gimmick. A couple of different ways to switch out the gimmick for a real chocolate and and extra Torn and Restored wrapper trick.

The packaging the gimmick comes in, is a shiny gold box just big enough for the gimmick to fit. If you are familiar with the chocolates you will know that it isn't very big. The link for the video instructions are printed in microscopic letters about 3 microns big on a small flap of the box. I spent 30 minutes looking for a magnifying glass that was good enough to magnify the print to be able to see the URL for the instructions.

If you are looking to have a silk disappear and end up in an unusual item, I would scout around first before settling on this one.
