To review a Tarbell book seems almost comical. These books are absolute classics......and volumes have been written about their collective value. To me, the book's greatest value is the collections of early lessons on the basic bedrock of what magic is and why it entertains.
Lots of fine effects, some of them a bit dated in the materials required, but a little patience and creativity can overcome that.
