In 1955, the author received a call concerning an abandoned magic collection. There were very few tricks, gimmicks, or standard texts on magic BUT there was a collection of notes describing unusual effects. These notes were written and the effects were created during a stay in a mental ward shortly before this magician's disappearance. The man is to remain nameless, but the effects are written in this text by Richard Bartram. Eleven chapters and over 75 items from this nameless man and some contributions by other more well-known magicians who had met this man before his demise. Cards, coins, mentalism, sleights, etc. There is some great magic here but be prepared to be "weirded out" by some very off the wall effects.
