Jay Marshall was an accomplished magician and ventriloquist who appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show 14 times, at the Palladium in London and Radio City Music Hall in New York. His highly successful and storied stage career was complimented by an active, if legendary passion for collecting showbiz and theatrical material, specifically focused on magic memorabilia, apparatus and posters. This will be the fourth sale from Marshall's incomprehensibly large holdings of magicana. He died in 2005 at the age of 85.
