Looking Glass 2.0 is a utility device used to acquire secret information, discreetly, in front of spectators.You will receive two utility device, and a DVD, with over 10 routines and ideas, performed and fully explained, plus various suggested ways to conceal the gimmick during performance.
Some of what you will learn:
Serial Number - You reveal the serial number of a bank note handed to you by a spectator.
Drawing Duplication - You reveal initials written on a business card that has been placed inside an envelope or written on a business card.
ESP Performance - You reveal ESP symbols without looking at them.
PEEKS - You will learn various peeks using playing cards, mobile phones and gimmicked decks to acomplish your revelation.
All the ideas that are supplied are different; demonstrating just how versatile Looking Glass is.

The ad copy says that it is a utility prop. It is actually a shiner.
The quality of the two (yes, two) mirrors is great. Solid thick acrylic that doesn't seem to scratch easily.
The teaching is great. Romanos show several ways to hide the gimmick and to obtain a peek.
I find that the card peeks are good but nowadays there are many excellent marked decks out there that are way easier to use to determine which card has been chose.
He also teaches a couple of drawing duplications. This where I think these props could come in quite handy, especially if you don't have an expensive peek wallet.
The tricks that are taught are quite good and well taught.
No real live performances but more of a one on one studio performance.
The video is well done without all the extra fluff and noises that are so prevalent these days.
Just to the point teaching.

Magic relies on secrets. Even the most entertaining, funny or theatrical performer still has to fool the audience in order to be called a magician.
In magic, there are secrets and then there are SECRETS.
Now that we have the internet, we tend to think we have access to all the secrets. But that’s far from true. Some of the best secrets are still contained in old books or passed on from professional to professional.
The shiner has been one of my favorite secret weapons for almost two decades. I was first taught the basics by one of my early mentors, and a dear friend for 25 years (I’m not going to say who, because I want you to still be fooled by him when he uses it on you at a convention).
Because there has been so little information written on the subject, it’s remained in the shadows for decades.
Personally, I wish it would stay there!
But now, with the publication of this DVD, more people are going to learn about it.
Since I know the method is sound, I will only comment on how it is taught on this DVD.
