About our Affiliates


Our primary goal with MyLovelyAssistant is to help magicians find quality products and dealers that will work for them. We're trying to keep you from adding to the dusty items in your magic drawer or closet (or garage; you know who you are). At the same time, we do our best to remain as impartial as humanly possible. While our Affiliates do pay for the service, payment is the last criteria on our list. Before an Affiliate is even accepted into the program, we need assurance that they are faithfully serving the magic community. The decision is ours, but you can be assured we're not going to tolerate things like poor customer service, questionable business practices or selling rip-offs.

Why become an Affiliate?


We get emails every week asking us, "Do you sell such-and-such." We don't. We just provide the product listing and reviews.

With the Affiliate Program, every product and review page will have a button allowing people to find the product at one of our Affiliate sites.

With over 40,000 page views a month, that's a lot of potential people clicking into your site.

How it Works


We have three levels of service. The primary difference is the degree of connectivity between MyLovelyAssistant and your catalog.

  • Search At. This is the easiest to setup. We just send information about the product (title, author and/or Murphy's ID) to your search engine and your site takes care of the rest.

  • Sold By. You get to build your own personal list of products by marking items on our site that you sell. This option is great for individual creators and boutique shops that specialize in a specific area of magic.

  • In Stock At. This is the most complicated setup, but also holds the most potential benefit for the Affiliate. Working with your web developer, we create and install a custom script on your website that will allow us to check inventory on any product in real-time.

How to Sign Up


We are now accepting applications for our Affiliate Program. We are being selective about exactly who gets chosen to join the program. We will only support dealers who we feel are doing an honest job of supporting magic and magicians.

You can apply by creating an account and then visiting the My Account link in the menu and clicking on the "Become an Affiliate" link under Services. If you have any questions, feel free to email us.
