"The Lasso Card Trick" is one of the favorite classics of all time. Now imagine you can do it anytime anywhere with a freely selected card and signed by the spectator. This is the most practical, fooling and amazing version of the classic "Lasso Card Trick" you will ever see! This is the version for you!

A shuffled regular deck of cards is handed out to a spectator. A card is freely selected and signed. A regular paper bag is handed out for examination. The selected card is lost in the deck and all the cards are thrown into the paper bag. The magician shakes the paper bag, shuffling all the cards inside. Now he takes a rope by the end and lowers part of it into the paper bag. After a few seconds the magician raises the rope taking it out of the paper bag. Surprisingly, the signed card appears tied on the rope. And it's not any card but precisely the signed selection!

Packs small and plays big.
All the materials fit in the pockets, extremely practical.
No table required.
A regular shuffled deck of cards is used (not provided).
Any paper bag can be used.
No change of ropes.
The same signed card is caught by the rope.
Perfect for parlor or stage.
Ideal for adults or kids shows.

Overview:
The performer shuffles a regular deck of cards. A spectator freely selects a card and signs it. A rope is then introduced and examined. Then a regular paper bag is handed out for examination. The selected card is lost in the deck and all the cards are thrown into the paper bag. The magician shakes the paper bag mixing up all the cards. The performer then takes the length of rope and lowers it into the paper bag. When he pulls the rope out of the bag the signed card appears tied on to the rope.

What You Get:
In a cellophane envelope you will receive a bifold cover page that has written instructions and on which includes a link to downloadable video instructions. You will also receive a gimmicked length of rope, the lasso gimmick and a paper bag. You have to provide your own deck of cards and a marker.

The two rope gimmicks are well made. The longer "fishing" length of rope is of regular quality. However, I am particularly impressed with the lasso gimmick. The lasso gimmick was made with enough forethought and care that when the long length of rope and the lasso gimmick attach, the impression is that a real knot has been formed. Unlike other gimmicks that I have seen where the attachment is haphazard, the juncture where the two items meet looks like a continuous piece of rope. The attention to detail was impressive.

Instructions:
The written instructions are very clear with enough illustrations to get the point across. The video instructions complimented the written instructions if there were any doubts on the handling. The video itself features a performance and then the explanation. The video is in Spanish and dubbed in English but the pacing, photography, sound and lighting were well done. There should be no questions on how to perform this after viewing the video.

Pros:
The gimmicks are well made and there should be no issues with t performing. If you ever wanted to do a Lasso Card trick, I can't think of an easier method.

Cons:
As far as the production of the effect goes there are none.

At A Glance:
This is for an intermediate level performer
The are no audience management issues
Performing angles are almost nil, however there is a transfer of the gimmick you need to be wary of
No reset time
No DIY

Fisher's Dream is a great effect that you can perform anywhere with this well-made and convincing gimmick. The spectator takes has a free choice and picks any card card. She signs the card. The performer allows a rope to be inspected and pulls out an empty paper bag, which can also be inspected. The cards are dropped into the brown paper bag and mixed up by shaking the bag. The rope, held by the performer is slowly lowered into the bag, shaken and when it is slowly removed, it has knotted itself around the signed card.

This trick comes with the rope, the gimmick, the bag a sheet of written instructions and a link to a downloadable video with a .rar extension. I could not initially open the video, but was able to on a different, more updated computer.

The video shows a live parlor performance, in Spanish, with English subtitles. The instructional portion of the video is taught very clearly and is easy to follow, despite have subtitles.

The ad copy and promotional video are accurate. The trick requires about 3 seconds to set up before hand and can be reset just as fast. The gimmick does not always work so smoothly, so a minimal amount of practice may be required to get it down. Do not let this comment deter you from purchasing this product

I highly recommend this fun and easy to perform trick.
