I was looking for a specific effect - being able to light a bulb with mental powers. Of course, there is the $5 magic bulb found in most gag shops but many know how that is done.
I saved up and bought the Cesaral Magic Bulb. I have not been disappointed. The description is substantially accurate and the effect can be done from the "get-go" with all practice devoted to the storyline as the effect is self working.
The light bulb is unplugged and held in the bare hand. After some powerful concentration, the light flickers and tries to light. The magician then revs up his powers, wraps the light bulb in bubble wrap and hands it to any member of the audience. Even from thirty feet away, the magician causes the light to first flicker and then light up brighter and brighter.
With one wave of the hand or exhaling of breath, the light suddenly goes out.
With the proper build up, this is a powerful effect as it takes place in the hands of the spectator with the magician no where near the bulb.
I am very pleased with this in spite of its cost.
