Obtain the ability to do what others have only dreamed of...

Of all the wonders in magic, nothing holds more impact and true astonishment than the ability to fly. It is for this reason the levitation is often considered the world's greatest illusion.

The Enchantment, producer of such highly acclaimed effects as Archangel, Dreamweaver, and ABYSS, is finally releasing its most sought after and highly anticipated product to date.
Introducing The Ultimate Self-Levitation!

Never before has it been possible to perform such a pure flight under such practical conditions. This system encompasses a flight without sacrificing height, angles, or visual appeal. Original in mechanics, technique, and style, this innovative system is unlike any other.

This is a levitation you will perform - and perform often. Skywalker is a true, real world system, enabling the performer to levitate under conditions and environments that exist when performing for audiences in the real world. Created for the working pro, whose performing environments are the most unyielding. This levitation can be performed virtually anywhere. Enjoy the ability to perform in the same real world attire you normally wear day-in and day-out. Perform without any hesitations, without any apprehensions, without any suspicion. Skywalker is extremely straight-forward and direct from start to finish, before and after the illusion. This system provides instant flight that is instantly repeatable with instant reset. For the true performer, this has everything necessary for executing the purest illusion. If you are serious about performing for real people, Skywalker is the complete system for levitating in the real world. Up to 400 lb. weight limit.

  • Wide Angles
  • No Hesitation or Apprehensions
  • Instantly Repeatable with Instant Reset

The Skywalker demo looks great. I commented on this on the creator's site right after purchasing it and said it was a great idea. At first reading it really is. I can't add to that posting or make another updated one there. So here is my warning: It takes much work to build the gimmick and doctor up your one to two sizes larger than normal (for you) shoes. After trying 3 times I finally realized the actual physics of the concept is all wrong. Either you have to balance on the edge of a wedge instead of the flat on the ground or stand on the edge inside one shoe. The only other option (not consistent with the stated construction) is to walk around on tip toes on the one foot with the gimmick on. If so, the edge of the gimmick would be cutting into your foot if you step down other than on your toes

The author says some have tried a certain type of padding, but said he did not need it. I assume that means his sharp edge is on the ground. I have tried fabricating my own gimmick through custom woodworking so I can have a less sharp edge. I have also tried the pad and tried creating twin angles. So far I am still working on it a year later. Perhaps someday, IF I persist, I may come up by design what he happened across in a shoe store by sheer luck.

Even if you (or I) do succeed, although there is indeed instant reset, if you feel it necessary to repeat it, but otherwise, between times you either have a process of going somewhere to disengage and again to reengage the gimmick, or switch to a third un-gimmicked shoe, or you have to walk around with your gimmicked leg bent (better wear baggy pants) and try not to look like you are limping. The condition when set, although ingenious in performance, both before and afterwards is kind of like walking with a regular flat shoe on one foot and a lady’s high heel shoe on the other. Try doing a walk-around in that! But, if your show is mostly standing behind a table or better yet sitting behind one, then this may be a great effect for you (once you master its construction and logistically the impossible physics that are only currently overcome by an amazing practiced feat of body balancing gymnastics as well as "the right" gimmick).

I will let you know here if I ever truly figure it out. I will also send those who bought it an update on how to really make it in the product forum (accessed only by a code known to purchasers), if they let me post that info there.

My advice is don’t buy it yet, unless you love to tinker and try to reinvent things. Especially things that either need clearer instructions (they were very clear), a recommendation of the exact brand name and style rather than generically telling readers what to try in general, or a better plan which does not defy the laws of physics or of anatomy unless, apparently you happen to luck out with the right brand of that special something from which you are suppose to make the gimmick.

Current stars rating? One star for trying, perhaps another for holding out hope for our own future success, but no more than 2 stars at this point.

    Magically yours, MagiKen
