Cash Galore

(Based on 1 review)
The performer demonstrates a new banking marvel known as Cash Cards. From the Cash Cards, the magician produces a one dollar bill, and places it on the front of his shirt. The bill adheres to the shirt. Another try yields a ten dollar bill. The magician then tries to produce another bill but gets a message from the Cash Card - OVERDRAWN. A cute patter story helps sell this trick, which is easy to do. Lots of magic happens with little effort on the part of the performer.

I have performed this effect a lot, including for a former Vice President of the United States. It is hard to explain where the bills come from, but it is self-contained - that is, it does not require any body loads or steals. The four cash cards are shown empty each time, and yet, when counted again, a bill appears between them. Because I perform overseas a lot, I use it to talk about international currency and the cyber age. I enter an amount and a currency, and that currency appears (yen, franc, dollars and pesos) but when I enter an amount too large for my cyber account I am "bankrupt." I have changed my card from "overdrawn" to "bankrupt."

The only downside of this effect is that there are lots of moves - but for card workers, they will be familiar and intuitive. A GREAT EFFECT.
