This specially made silk mask with strings appears identical to an ordinary blue disposable surgical mask.
The Mask is 100% silk, expertly printed, and crafted to fit in a standard thumb tip.
It is ideal to produce, vanish transpose, or use for any of the classic silk effects.
Included is a link to a one-hour tutorial video, that covers basic to advanced thumb tip techniques, special mask handlings, managing angles, subtleties, steals, loads, ditches, and several presentation ideas, including Vernon's classic 'Bill to Silk', but now using an item that every spectator can relate to.
Please note that this silk mask is NOT a real mask. It does not provide any protection against viruses ( Covid 19 and others...)

Overview
Well, this may be one of the shortest reviews that I have ever written. Why, because this effect is not rocket science. If you have been in magic for even a very short period of time, just from watching the demo and the handling, you probably already had it figured out. Yup, and you already have what you ’need’ other than the mask itself to perform this very timely effect. Is it visual - yes, is it easy - yes, is it, will you learn it very quickly - yes, will you start performing it very soon - yes. I have already incorporated this into my opening with amazing reactions. I come on stage wearing the mask and with the very comical patter I came up with, I then vanish the mask to then produce some hand sanitizer, very acceptable these days! How nice to be able to finish this routine and being left clean.The are so many different routines and story lines you can come up with, sky is the limit. The online video is a whopping 1 hour and 5 minutes … wow, no lack of information, handlings, subtleties, ‘do’s and dont’s' and much more. I checked out a few negative comments about the quality of the mask and complaints about the straps coming off. Before I started using it, I took a few minutes with a needle and thread and reinforced the attachments. I’m not suggesting that it will come apart, I just wanted to ensure that I would not have any malfunctions during a performance. Would some clear glue of silicone work, probably.
I totally recommend this buy, I’m having so much fun with it, you will too!
