PROS

This is an excellent method for several morphing effects, from a deck of cards to a card box to a color change effect.

The instruction is very good. The effect comes with a gimmick that is mostly completed. The gimmick is good quality. The package comes with enough of a certain material to make three gimmicks.

CONS

In the demonstrations, many times, the switch wasn’t performed well and the gimmick was revealed. I personally think that it can be handled better to be more invisible. This is a case of basic handling of the bigger move hiding the smaller move.

The color change effect seems like a lot of work for a color change. The gimmick is really overkill. Much simpler ways to do a color change.

VERDICT

Excellent gimmick. The instruction is good, but the handling could have been better.

Suggestions

A killer suggestion would be to build a slightly larger box. In performance, remove the gimmick cards from the box, with one single loose card. Put the box away. Ask a participant to name any card. Place the card in their hand or on the table. If it is the wrong card (51 times out of 52 it will be the wrong card), do the move and convert the deck of cards to a card box and “start over”. Perhaps you have an invisible deck in the box.
