Crystal Silk Cylinder With Addition - Mak

Mak

(Based on 1 review)
A tall, clear plastic cylinder is freely shown and three 18 inch silks are let down inside the cylinder as shown.

A metal cover, open at both ends, is then slid down over the cylinder.

When the cover is removed, the silks have changed to three REAL oranges which can be tossed to the audience.

The cylinder can be shown empty at both ends, the silks having vanished completely. No mirrors are used.

Vanish silks, change them to solid objects, switch them for effects like 20th Century Silks!

Change them to Flags, Ribbons, etc.

Stands 12 inches high and is 3 inches in diameter. Made of clear heavy plastic with a Wooden base and Metal cover.

With the addition by Rob Rettew Sr. You may show the metal cover empty at the start as well as at the finish of the trick.

The cover of the Silk Cylinder Addition is made of metal.

Manufactured by Mak Magic.

I have performed this effect for many years. For a long time I produced three oranges or apples, or whatever fruit was in season and colorful. But I always had an issue - if I passed the fruit out so that people could see that it was real they wanted to keep the fruit.

More recently, I have shown three 18 inch silks - two butterfly silks and a black silk. I claim that I am going to make them disappear. After lifting the cylinder off and seeing that they haven't disappeared, I change them into two 36 inch butterfly silks with a 6 foot dragon silk tied between them.

When my wife (and lovely assistant) is not available to help me pull out the silks in a beautiful manner, I use three 36 inch silks. I can handle them myself in a magical manner.

A wonderful effect, whether you use oranges or silks.

With a little weight in the bottom of the gimmick you can also produce a Santa doll, and Easter bunny, a barbie doll or any other figure that will fit in the cylinder.
