    Overview

    Are you short on pocket space? Do you hate filling your pockets with stuff, but would like to have some magic to perform? If that’s the case, then Plucked Out by Jota may be something you would like. Plucked Out is a Princess Card Trick that you wear. This cleverly constructed trick seemingly allows you to remove an imprinted picture of a playing card from a shirt.

    Effect

    The performer asks a spectator to think if one of the seven playing cards imprinted on the front of his shirt. They do and with a quick pass of the imprint, their thought of card disappears from the spread, leaving a gap where it once sat. This is just one of two routines provided when you purchase Plucked Out.

    Method

    The method involves a custom made imprint which you iron on your shirt and a gimmick that matches the imprint and is kept in place until you need to remove it. If you aren’t familiar with the Princess Card Trick, the principle is the same. The spectator sees an array of cards and focuses on one. All the cards are changed but since they only focused on their thought of card, the other go unrecognized and the changing of all the cards goes unnoticed. Of course this kind of trick is best done with one spectator because if a group of people all think of different cards, it would be odd if everyone’s cards disappear.

    Product Quality

    The product quality is excellent. You are provided with two iron-on gimmicks both a little different. Also included are the requisite materials to make the magic happen. No shirt is provided for obvious reasons. By not providing a shirt, the purchaser can choose their own size, style, quality and color which suits them. The downloadable video instructions are about 40 minutes long and cover everything very thoroughly. The video quality, pace, sound and coverage is excellent.
