Doves to Rabbit
(Based on 3 reviews)
The doves have vanished completely
Doves to Rabbit is a fantastic illusion that is performed with lightning speed The illusion packs flat, yet will certainly be the focus point of any dove act.

it depends who makes it. I bought one from Daytona Magic about 8 years ago and it is crap. They have some "box maker" down in Florida who made this and it's not good. The big problem I'm seeing with these average illusion builders is they look only at what it costs them to make it. Not if it does the job. These are supposed to be based on the "black art" principle. Black art works only with black velvet. these boxes come painted inside. You can see a reflection off of the false wall because they aren't made right. this Daytona model wasn't even big enough to hold doves. I had to get parakeets. And how hard is it for these guys to put a little rubber padding like window stripping so that it doesn't make loud noise when it closes. I say go to a magic shop and check it out before buying it.there are too many people making crap anymore.

I have doves to rabbits in my act for many years. I have used rabbits, a mini-daschund, and often I have used a comedy doll rabbit rather than a real one. I have also used real doves and rubber or artifical ones.
The best impact is when you use live animals. But even with the fake ones, the change is so sudden that it is impressive. One problem on occasion is that the rabbit may be off balance when produced. Another is that music should be used as the change, though instantaneous and very visual, is quite noisy.

I love this! I use it with my dog (A shizoo) instead of a rabbit. The reactions are amazing! People really freak when they see this one! They just don't expect it. Looks incredible. The only drawback is that you should be a distance away from the audience. Other than that...it will be a great adition to your show.
