The performer reaches into his pocket and removes two coins, a half dollar and a penny. These two coins are handed to a spectator for examination. After the coins are examined, they are placed in the performers closed fist. The performer openly removes the penny and places it in his pocket. The performer asks the spectator, ' Which coin is in my hand?' The spectator replies with ' The half dollar.' The performer replies with ' Correct, but this is a two coin trick.' The performer opens his hand and the penny has magically returned back to his hand holding the half dollar ! Both coins are displayed. The performer makes a fist around the two coins. The performer reaches into his fist and openly removes the half dollar this time. The half dollar is displayed and placed in the performers pocket. The performer asks the spectator, ' Which coin is left in my hand?' The spectator catches on and say's ' Two coins because its a two coin trick." The performer opens his hand and the penny has completely VANISHED ! No sleight of hand, Coins are NOT switched, Coins are examinable both before and after, Complete with coins and photo illustrated easy to follow instructions.

PROS

I can't think of any.

CONS

Bob, how lazy can you be? In your demo video, you flash an extra penny under the half dollar!

While this effect could be done without any gimmicks, the entire premise is flawed. Let's see... a giant half dollar and a tiny penny. Where could the penny hide? Under the half dollar? No, can't be.

VERDICT

Boo, hiss! This is the sort of thing that stains a producers reputation.

This product was really disappointing. The basic effect is that a penny jumps from your pocket into your hand that is holding a half dollar. In the second phase, you put the half dollar in your pocket the penny vanishes!

The coins are gimmicked, although I’m sure there are a thousand methods that could use ungimmicked coins. Also, there are a thousand coin gimmicks that cost the same, but produce a more impressive effect than an appearing and vanishing penny.

My opinion: Buy Scotch & Soda instead of this.
