A number of 'love cards' are taken out from a wallet and examined by the audience. While the performers back is turned, the spectator thinks of a number between one and ten and takes the card at that number. With a word having been freely selected from the chosen card, they are all returned to the wallet as the performer turns back around to reveal the word that is merely being thought of. As an added kicker, the performer can even reveal the thought of number!

If you have or are familiar with Bill Abbott’s Powerball this is kind of the same but different as some aspects of it have influenced this effect. Marry this up with a book test and you have Love Cards. The nice thing about this is these cards live nicely in your card wallet so you always have this on you ready to go and so very easy to do. There is no memorization needed unless you really want to in order to give this a little extra feel but as mentioned no need to, it is great without. Everything you need is in the cards which were very well thought out in design and look. They are innocence personified and even if scrutinized you are totally safe.Product Quality

It also states that there is no multiple out system, has an instant reset, easy to perform and is self working. All is true as stated. Your purchase includes the Love Cards and a DVD with over 2 hours of instruction nicely divided into 7 chapters. It is very detailed and well done and includes live and studio performances, table and stand up handlings, other suggested presentations plus tips and hints. I was very impressed with this and you can start performing this in a very short time.Final Thoughts
I really like this effect as it has a lot of versatility, is angle proof, can be performed almost everywhere at any time. There is certainly a lot of bang for your buck with this purchase and will totally fit your performance style if this is your taste. I do recommend this as a great buy and just due to the fact that it is not available online that you have to have a DVD player, I am deducting just .5 point.(Top ▲)
I really only have one complaint about the product. I think that there is way too much explanation of the cards and quite a bit of procedure and giving directions to the spectator before any magic (or mind reading) happens. Watch the trailer of the effect. If the presentation shown there is not too long for your style then you'll be very happy with your purchase.
The cards are very well made. They method is dead simple and very smart. It's taught very well by Craig Petty and Russell Leeds. The presentation you see in the teaser is exactly how clean it really is.
I personally don't think I would ever do this effect because it does take a lot of explaining and directions. That's not necessarily a bad thing; it's just not my thing.
I think the effect itself is pretty good albeit a bit convoluted by the procedure.
The product quality itself is top notch. Put all of this together and you're left with a final verdict of 3.5 stars with a Stone Status of Gem . . . if you like the presentation effect.
